What is Rotary?

Rotary is the world’s greatest service organization.

We’re members of the community who are committed to making a difference locally, and around the world.

How do I know it’s the “greatest”?  Well…there’s certainly a bit of bias, but these are the things that strike me:

1. Rotary is made up of individual community clubs that collectively make a tremendous impact. This make a ton of sense…at least to me.

I see and feel the difference that our club makes, right here in Austintown.

2. Rotary is made up of 1.2MM members (Rotarians) across the globe. Our organization is making real impact, and has for 100 years. In fact, our most proud achievement has been the nearly total eradication of the dreaded disease Polio.

3. Rotary has the highest rating possible on the non-profit watchdog Charity Navigator. This means that damn near all the money we raise goes directly to the causes we support. I think that’s important.
